Pug is a very cute small and sturdy
dog that is very strong in personality. Pug Dogs are
natural crowns that will make you laugh and happy. They are also
very good with children and will be a good companion to the
whole family, children included.
PUG is in fact a very friendly
dog. Most PUG possibly won't know a stranger in their
entire life and may be the word stranger is not in their vocabulary.
As such, PUG will not be a good guard dog.
Most PUG are crazy for food and
therefore they are quite easy to train. We have been able to
train many PUGs to intermediate level with ease. PUG are
energetic when they are young and many of them can even be a
good trekking partner. Two of our PUGs often join us for the
weekend Jungle Trekking during the weekend that normally last
for 2 hours over difficult terrain.
PUG can even be trained for
Agility and they are able to clear hurdles going through the dog
walk and A-Frame, Tire Jump, Seesaw, Table, Rigid Tunnels and
Collapsible Tunnels all with ease. They are however not able to
run as fast as many other breed. I
PUG has short coat and require
very little grooming. PUG shed a lot seasonally and constant
brushing is all that is needed to remove loose coat.
PUG also seldom bark and require
little exercise and therefore very suitable to keep in an
apartment.
